About John Orr
John Orr writes the popular water issues blog Coyote Gulch where he covers Colorado, the Colorado River, Republican River, Arkansas River, Rio Grande River, and Platte River basins. He writes a column for Colorado Central Magazine and has written for the Colorado Independent, Cherry Creek News, and Denver Examiner. He is active on Twitter (@CoyoteGulch), Facebook, and Linkedin. John is also a member of the Climate Reality Project giving presentations about the need to act to mitigate Climate Change. He is the CRWUA social media coordinator for Twitter (@CRWUAwater), and Instagram (crwuawater). He works for the City of Thornton, Colorado, as a Water Resources Administrator, directing the Supply and Demand Planning section, incorporating climate and weather information into operations and supply efforts. John is a graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver.
