Greg Hobbs, who served as a Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court from May 1, 1996 to August 31, 2015, is currently a Senior Water Judge assigned to mediation of Colorado Water Court cases. He is Co-Director of the Environmental and Natural Resources Program at the University of Denver’s Law School.
A member of the Colorado Author’s League, his books include In Praise of Fair Colorado, The Practice of Poetry, History and Judging; Colorado Mother of Rivers, Water Poems; The Public’s Water Resource, Articles on Water Law, History, and Culture; Living the Four Corners, Colorado Centennial State at the Headwaters; and Into The Grand.
He holds a history degree from the University of Notre Dame (1966) and a law degree from the University of California at Berkeley (1971).
