Say hello to Keith Burron!

Keith Burron

Say hello to Keith Burron! He is the facilitator for the “Perspectives from the Basin States Commissioners” session at the 2025 CRWUA Conference December 16-18, 2025 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Within CRWUA, Burron serves as Wyoming Trustee and Vice President. In 2015, he was appointed by the Governor of Wyoming as an Alternate Commissioner on the Upper Colorado River Commission. He is active in professional and policy circles related to water law, land use, energy, and natural resources.

Burron has practiced natural resources law — including water rights, environmental law, permitting, and public lands matters — for over thirty years. His career includes time in the public sector (with the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office, Water and Natural Resources Division) and private practice. He currently leads his own firm, which focuses on water, land, and environmental issues, representing clients in industries such as agriculture and energy, as well as governmental and public-lands interests.

Raised on Colorado’s Front Range, Burron later relocated to Southeast Wyoming, where he and his wife Alice raised four children. The outdoor lifestyle of Wyoming figures prominently in his family’s background.
