Say hello to Jack Schmidt! He is one of the speakers for the “Near-Term Analysis of Colorado River Basin Storage” session at the 2025 CRWUA Conference December 16-18, 2025 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Jack Schmidt is Director of the Center for Colorado River Studies at Utah State University, and Janet Quinney Lawson Chair in Colorado River Studies, emeritus. His 40-year research and teaching career has focused on river geomorphology, restoration, and management. He served as Chief of the USGS Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center, 2011-2014.
